Darktide Mission book remake research

So, after playing for 2 years, and only occasionally trying to piece the story together, I gather thus:

The Cult of Admonition (dreg enemies) was beginning to foment a full blown rebellion, and Lord Governor Margrave ordered 6th Moebian to travel to Tertium to assist in quellig it.

The Moebian 6th betrayed the planet and joined the uprising, having already been turned during the previous campaign in Nox. They are the Scab enemies.

The early story missions are of Rannik trying to figure out what's going on and assess the totality of the threat, while taking small steps to push back (Excise Vault and the demon at the signal relay, poisoned water silo). Then it's to start pushing into the regions on the edge (throneside Aegis station), and to secure data from Archivum sycorax, and the relay dish mission for the special report. The assassination missions and the resource acquisition levels come here (chasm logistratum train raid, special ammo mission). Then there's the latest round, where the Inquisition warband is operating as a special strike force, more than an inquisitorial-investigation aparat. This includes the Gloriana and Train Missiond, as well as the new story on the infested smelter complex (which was previously not under effective control).

So, yeah. Tertium is losing the war against the heretical uprising.

To add some other story bits:

The Moebian 21st happened to be in Tertium for a resupply when the uprising occurred, making them the primary loyalist fighting force. They're aquatic world combat specialists (hence the blue armor), so while they're doing their best they're no match for the 6th (who are elite troops skilled in urban warfare.)

Reinforcements from outside the Domain are not an option. I'm not sure if it's ever been explicitly stated why, if it's just that nobody is available, or if comms are somehow blocked, but no Space Marines or external Guard regiments are coming, it's just rejects and Moebian troops.

Zola knew Wolfer. In what context we don't know, but we know that their full names are Orgustine Zola and Biron Wolfer, and there's a cosmetic that says it contains a prayer from "OZ" asking to protect "Biron."

Zola also may have known the Karnak twins, based on how she acts during the mission to kill them - however it may be that she just sees them as a way to get to Wolfer. The Karnak assault is also the point where we go from stage 2 to stage 3 in your breakdown.

The Lords of Tertium recently have been unimpressed with Grendyl's rejects and the 21st, and called in a commissar (Dukane) and the 53rd (who I'm not sure if they're specialists at anything or are just "generic Guard regiment.") Dukane expected this to be a lot smaller than it was, and is now suspicious of the Lords for 1) letting the cult get this big before the uprising and 2) not calling in the big guns sooner.

Things have been getting worse/more Nurgley lately. Dreg cultists are more active and aggressive (tox bombers.) Mutations are becoming common, and daemonic incursions are more and more regular (the mutation modifier from a few days ago.) Rinda Karnak has been resurrected as some kind of Nurgle champion. This is the point where you'd seriously want to call in Space Marines if that was an option, but it's not for us.

of thought. I think I have what I think the chronological order of missions we Rejects took in the game.

Power Matrix HL-17-36 (Metalfab 36)

Smelter Complex HL-17-36 (Metalfab 36)

Silo Cluster 18-66/a (The Torrent)

Consignment Yard HL-17-36 (Metalfab 36)

Hab Dreyko (Chasm Terminus)

Chasm Logistratum (Chasm Terminus)

Relay Station TRS-150 (The Hourglass)

Chasm Station HL-16-11 (Chasm Terminus)

Magistrati Oubliette TM8-707 (The Torrent)

Vigil Station Oblivium (The Torrent)

Excise Vault Spireside-13 (The Hourglass)

Refinery Delta-17 (The Hourglass)

Enclavum Baross (Throneside)

Comms-Plex 154/2f (Throneside)

I could go on a tangent but to keep it short. The Inquisition's priorities were first to keep the PDF's war effort going by doing repairs and supply requisition in Metalfab 36. And doing a little bit of a misadventure into heavily controlled heretic territory in The Torrent to restore "clean" water. With the war effort back on. We are then send into the frontlines itself in Chasm Terminus to first investigate the plague ridden hab blocks in Hab Dreyko and it's neighbouring Hab Laranax. With the investigation completed and the entire hab blocks contained. We then proceeded to retrieve some "special ammo". Ammo that is special in someway that we aren't privy to use. Meanwhile another team was sent to The Hourglass to stop some disruptive heretical propaganda from being propagated.

The turning point is the 2 Assassination missions. The intelligence gathered from the 2 dead Traitor Captains revealed a lot of information on what the heretics are trying to achieve. We were then sent back to The Torrent one last time to deliver false data in the Torrent's Cogitator array. Another Strike team was then sent to the Excise Vault in The Hourglass to retrieve a sample of the heretic's contagion. Then another team was sent to the fuel refinery, also in The Hourglass in Refinery Delta-17 to finally destroy the pathogen that is being developed by the heretics. Presumably to try and do the same thing that the heretics already did to Hab Dreyko.

It's at this point that the heretics finally start their incursions to Throneside. They succeed in invading at least 2 of the major locations in Throneside. Enclavum Baross and Enclavum Kothar. Enclavum Kothar being where the Comms-Plex in Comms-Plex 154/2f is located. And the first side of the bridge where we started during the mission Enclavum Baross. Here we are tasked with presumably establishing a FOB for the PDF in the Aegis station, located in Enclavum Baross. With the FOB established. We were then sent all the way to the Comms-Plex on Enclavum Kothar to deliver some very important message to someone or a group of people somewhere.
